Jihane El Bahhar is a screenwriter, director, and producer recognized for her contributions to Moroccan cinema. After studying Spanish literature, she specialized in audiovisual studies at the Ibn Mssik Faculty in Casablanca and earned her diploma in 2006 from the Euro-Mediterranean Cinema and Audiovisual Center in Ouarzazate.
Her first short film, "Shift+supp" (2007), garnered several international awards. She is noted for her collaborations with acclaimed directors such as Hassan Benjelloun and Saad Chraibi, and for her award-winning shorts like "The last soul".
In 2016, she directed and produced the film "In Wonderland", which was a box-office success in Morocco. Jihane has also directed TV films and the series "Nisf Qamar" (2022). In 2023, her feature film "Triple A" won several international awards, including Best Foreign Film at the Soho Film Festival in New York.
