Born in Paris, Ève Duchemin studied cinematography at INSAS in Brussels. She gained recognition with her documentary portraits, including "Adulthood" (Visions du Réel 2012) and "Into Battle, Portrait of a Prison Director" (Magritte Award for Best Documentary, 2017). After directing her first fiction short in 2009 ("Tangled Web"), she released her debut fiction feature "Dead Time" in 2023, acclaimed by critics. "Petit Rempart" (2025) is her first feature-length documentary.
