Out of School

Perched atop a mountain overlooking their village, twelve-year-old Karim and Mohamed symbolically bury their childhood. Forced to leave school because their parents can no longer afford their education, they struggle to become the men everyone expects them to be, without really knowing how. The film follows their first year out of school as they navigate the difficult transition from childhood to adulthood, shaped by new responsibilities and rural exodus.
