In a harsh neighborhood of a ruthless city, siblings Hadda and Krimo struggle to survive. Krimo sells fish by day and serves at events by night, while Hadda suffers from a speech impairment. Their lives shift when a medical organization offers to cover surgery for Hadda—alarming neighbors afraid she might expose their buried secrets.

Hicham El Jebbari is a Moroccan director, screenwriter, and producer. He holds a diploma from ENAP Rabat and a Master’s degree in administrative sciences from the University of Mannheim, Germany, where he also began film training. Upon returning to Morocco, he became the Artistic Director of the Théâtre National Mohamed V in Rabat in 2002.
He began his film career in 2005 with the short film "Dead at dawn", which won several awards. He has directed various short films and TV dramas, including "Shadows of death" (2011) and "Wolves never sleep" (2014). Hicham is also known for his sitcoms and TV series such as "Al madi la yamout" and "Trik lward".
His first feature film, "Tears of Satan" (2016), won the Golden Screen Award at the Black Screens Festival in Yaoundé. His second feature, "Ana Machi Ana", is scheduled for release in December 2023, and his third, "Hadda w Krimou", is planned for December 2024.
