Adama Bineta Sow is a Senegalese filmmaker. At the age of 23, she directed her first short film, “Blind by a Blind”, which was selected in 2017 in the junior section of FESPACO. Her second short film, “À nous la tabaski”, won several awards in Europe and Africa, including Best Short Film at the Women’s Film Festival of Fontenay-le-Fleury in Paris, and was selected at other international festivals. She also received a certificate of recognition from the Minister of Culture of Senegal. “Timpi Tampa” is her first feature film, which was selected at FESPACO 2025 in the Perspectives section, where it received a special mention.
