Habibata Ouarme is a Canadian filmmaker with family roots in Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso. Member of a non-profit organization assisting immigrant and racialized women in Quebec. Her first documentary explores the phenomenon of female genital mutilation from the perspective of those who’ve experienced it.
Filmmaker in Canada, Jim Donovan has filmed several dramatic series and movies. His film "3 Seasons" won a Borsos Award for Best Canadian Feature Film at the 2008 Whistler Film Festival. In 2013, he won multiple awards for television series and telefilms.
