Insaf Ouhiba is a researcher and trainer in film and audiovisual studies and festival programmer. She taught at the Higher Institute of Documentation of Tunis and in the Cairo University’s Economics and Politics Department. Currently, she is teaching at the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle. Her primary research areas are cinematographic heritage, censorship and women's cinema. She has numerous publications. Ouhiba coordinates many panels about cinema and also worked as a programmer for Cairo International Film Festival (2014) and Carthage Film Festival (2010, 2016, 2021). She has juried on numerous film festivals.
